Sethu
is a watershed movie in the Tamil industry.
No other film met such odds and made it to the
top. Debutante director Bala had a feisty background
and Vikram himself was a struggling actor although
he had been around for more than ten years.
A. Kandasamy who produced the film had to grapple
with finance problems. But, once the film was
complete there were no takers and it took a
lot of perseverance from Bala who convinced
the distributors. |
