The day before Diwali this year was one which the Kollywood stars would like to forget. There was a series of well coordinated raids by officials of the Income tax department. It created much hype about the quantum of unaccounted money unearthed. However, the stars were

quite upset about the timing as it was just ahead of the big day. The stars like Vijay, Vikram, and others who had their releases lined up were the most annoyed. They nevertheless cooperated. Many had also vented their feelings to the veteran leader Kalaignar Karunanidhi.
