He
was widely expected to be the heir apparent
for his father, the maestro Ilayaraja. But
after a few films, he did not click that
much. Now after a long gap, he is working
in a film titled Oru ponnu oru paiyyan.
Annai Bhavani Creations is the producer.
Newcomers Sandeep and Shweta are the lead
pair. Karthik Raja has set to music the
lyrics by Na. Muthukumar, Yugabarathi |

and Kapilan. Story, screenplay and direction
are by Naren Deivanayagam, who has earlier
given the hit Prabudeva film, Manadhai thirudivittai.
Shooting for the film is on in Kerala and
Karthik Raja has started recording the songs
from today. |
