Idiots, which is directed by Rajkumar
Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod
Chopra, stars Aamir Khan, Kareena
Kapoor, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi.
The film is due to be released tomorrow
amidst much expectation as Aamir had
promoted the film in a unique way.
The film’s producer Vidhu Vinod
Chopra says that in an effort to discourage
pirated film prints he has decided
to offer the film for download. All
that the fans need to do is to wait
for twelve weeks from the date of
the release of 3 Idiots to download
it from YouTube. The producer adds
that the 12-week time would allow
the theatre owners to make profit.
According to Chopra, “Tomorrow,
if there is a facility to watch movies
on mobile phones, the film will be
available there but in appropriate
time. We can’t harm our theatrical
business by releasing at DTH.”
