Simbu is on cloud nine with the unprecedented hit of his Manmadan which has given Vijay a run for his money. It has also pushed Dhanush slightly behind in the race. The talented lad has worked with great involvement in several aspects of the movie, notably the screenplay. In the title credits in the movie, it was mentioned that Simbu had written the story and screenplay and A.J. Murugan was the director. However, in posters celebrating the success of the film, it was splashed that besides story and screenplay Simbu was also the direction supervisor. Now, he is also scouting for good stories so that he could act and direct the film. His next project, Vallavan, will be directed by Srinath and A.J. Murugan is the associate director. Srinath had started a film called College days which did not see the light of day. A.J. Murugan meanwhile will also act in a movie titled Psycho to be produced by a friend of his and Kandaswamy.
