Meena, was the darling of the audience with several hits to her credit. She had paired opposite leading heroes as well. With the arrival of the Mumbai girls’ brigade, she paled out. Sitting at home without work, she decided to pursue academics and enrolled for Masters in History at Annamalai University. Last year, she appeared for her written examinations in Chennai wearing a purdah, so that other students were not distracted. This year also, her exams commence from May 23. So, she has been burning the midnight oil. She will follow the purdah technique this year, as well.
