Did Sarath replace Suriya in Dhruva Natchathiram?

Since the past few days, the online space has been buzzing about Sarath Kumar doing an important role in Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram. A few even went as far as to say that Sarath Kumar is actually taking Suriya's place as the male lead, following a delay in the film's take-off due to rumored creative differences between Suriya and Gautham.

Behindwoods contacted Gautham today to directly clarify these talks. All that the director said was "Please wait for a few more days. I would be giving out all the information that you need, officially"

The ace director was committal about neither Sarath Kumar's presence in Dhruva Natchathiram nor Suriya's participation in the same. Guess, we have to wait for the director to let the cat out of the bag, even as the mystery surrounding Dhruva Natchathiram continues to soar high.

In the meantime, other reliable sources have confirmed to Behindwoods that Sarath Kumar and Gautham had in fact met on a story discussion and if at all Sarath was to do the Gautham's project, his Aei 2 with director Venkatesh, where the actor is enacting four roles, will be pushed by a few months.
