Two film producers meet minister Kadambur Raja seeking compensation for their loses

Piracy is a never-ending problem for all filmmakers, in today's internet world, every film is being uploaded to several pirated sites within 24 hours of its release.

Recently, the Police arrested the proprietor and the operator of the theatre of Murugan theatre near Krishnagiri illegally shooting and uploading a Tamil film Manusana Nee on the internet. Similarly, a case has been filed for piracy against the proprietor of Gomathi Theatre (Mayiladuthurai). It is said that another theatre named Ellora Cinemas in Karur is soon expected to be sued.

The producers of Manusana Nee and Oru Kuppai Kathai, who have filed cases against these theatre owners who were allegedly involved in piracy, met Kadambur Raju, the Minister for Information and Publicity with a petition to save Tamil Cinema and also requesting compensation money for their losses.
