Actor Vaibhav's upcoming film Kaatteri, after being associated with names like Oviya, Hansika, Trisha, Rakul Preet Singh and Anushka as the contenders for the four female lead roles in the film, will have none of them.

The director of the film, Deekay (of Yaamirukka Bayamey fame) revealed the names of the four heroines when we contacted him about the film: Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Sonam Bajwa, Aathmika and Telugu star Manali Rathod.

He said, "The film will be a fun, black comedy filled horror entertainer. You can liken it to the tales grandmothers tell kids."

Notably, shooting for the film began on April 20 with Varalakshmi's portions in the movie.
