HOW DIFFERENT WILL PREMAM TELUGU REMAKE BE?

The Telugu remake of Premam, starring Naga Chaitanya, Shruti Haasan, Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameswaran, is now censored. The romantic entertainer, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, has cleared the censors with a 'U/A' certificate. It is also said that the film will most probably release on the 7th of October, for the Dussera festival.

It should be noted that the original Malayalam version, starring Nivin Pauly, was certified with a clean 'U' certificate. It was a feel good entertainer which didn't have any extra commercial elements other than what was needed for the film. With a change in the censor certificate for the Telugu version, there are chances of the screenplay being altered to suit the Telugu audience. Will the Telugu version have more action sequences or intense romantic portions, which might have led to the U/A certificate? We will have to wait and watch!

Well, looks like we will have to wait till October 7th, to know the answer.
