96 starring Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha and others was directed by C.Prem Kumar. The music director of the film is Govind Vasantha. Recently, the movie had crossed 100 days in theatres and hence, the team conducted a success meet to celebrate this occasion.
96 got beautifully etched in people’s hearts and gained many positive reviews. The one thing the fans always yearned through the movie was to see Ram (played by Vijay Sethupathi) and Janu (played by Trisha) hug each other in the movie at the end which never did happen in the story.
Parthiepan, in the press meet, called the actors onto the stage and in order to mark the success celebration of the movie, he asked them to hug each other to the delight of everyone who were waiting for it to happen in the film. Ram then hugged Janu. It was a beautiful moment. Vijay Sethupathi then said,”This is the climax for the film.” And it was well received by the audience.
This beautiful incident indicated how much people loved the movie and the performances. Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha again co-starred in Petta which is running in theatres successfully. However, in Petta, they did not share any screen space together.
