Indian 2 is Kamal Haasan's next film that is being directed by Shankar and bankrolled by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions banner. It has Kajal Agarwal as the female lead. Ravi Varman is handling the cinematography while, Anirudh Ravichander is composing music.
The latest update on this film is that actor Delhi Ganesh has been roped in to play an important role. This was confirmed by the veteran on his Facebook handle, "I have a got a good chance in Indian 2. A good combination with the calm and brilliant filmmaker Shankar, and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan."
Delhi Ganesh is famous for his roles in films like Nayagan, Jigarthanda, Irumbuthirai, etc., Indian 2 is the sequel to Indian, that released in 1996. The first part had Kamal playing dual roles of Chandru, and Senapathy a vigilante. The expectations are high for this project, and it is touted to be the last film of Ulaganayagan's career.
