Rajinikanth, who had a great 2018 with the critically acclaimed Kaala, and Shankar's Magnum Opus 2.0, started 2019 with a bang, courtesy Karthik Subbaraj's Petta. The film got great reviews, and is also performing extremely well at the box office. It has got a blockbuster verdict at the Chennai Box office, and this isn't something new for Superstar.
Following Petta, Rajinikanth is acting in a film with AR Murugadoss, which will be the 166th of his stellar career. The film has Nayanthara as the female lead, while Anirudh Ravichander, who composed the music for Petta, will be joining hands with Thalaivar once again.
The latest update about this biggie is that, Niharika Bhasin, who designed the costumes for Rajini in Petta, is officially on board for the film. She took to Instagram to announce this news. She posted a picture of the flight that was used for Kabali promotions, and captioned it:
