Social activist Sandhya had made a derogatory comment against former Tamil/Telugu actress Jeevitha and her husband Dr Rajashekar. Sandhya had commented that Jeevitha used to blackmail hostel girls and send them to her husband to fulfil his sexual pleasure.

To put a full stop to this allegation, Jeevitha arranged for a press meet to clear this issue. She lashed out at Sandhya and also stated that she would be filing a defamation suit against Sandhya. Talking about Sri Reddy who started this movement, Jeevitha stated, "She is not a small baby to get cheated by someone for years."
