When is 'I' releasing ?

Yesterday, (1st January 2015), we informed that Thala Ajith - Gautham Menon biggie, Yennai Arindhaal will be releasing on the 29th of January, and not for Pongal, the 14th of January as planned.

This frees the space for Chiyaan Vikram - Shankar magnum opus, I to release on those lucrative Pongal holidays.

It is to be noted that team had been considering various possible dates for a release, that will maximize revenues, and Yennai Arindhaal's deferment has given them the perfect dates.

Earlier the film was, supposedly, scheduled to be released on the 9th January. With the postponement of Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal, looks like I release may get pushed to 14th. Official confirmation from the team is expected soon!
