Kamal Haasan's mentor and a noted senior director passes away

Tamil cinema has been facing a lot of losses and the recent shocker is, actor - film maker RC Sakthi breathed his last sometime back at the SRM Hospital in Vadapalani, Chennai. This prolific journalist started to assist for films and ended up directing a new-age Tamil film, Unarchigal which supposedly introduced Kamal as a lead hero.

Kamal has always quoted Sakthi in many of his interviews as one of his mentors who provided lots of insights. Having made an award winning film Pathini Penn, Sakthi was respected for his take on cinema.

Such an irreplaceable loss will take its due course of time to be consumed by the fraternity and film lovers.
