After Kamal Haasan, it's now Ajay Devgn's turn

Best part about making a great film is, you still tend to make money through the remake rights. Drishyam is one such Malayalam movie that created ripples across the South for its realistic and very gripping portrayal of a family in trouble.

 

This Mohanlal starrer that went on to receive maximum reception when it released in late 2013 is already being remade in Tamil with Kamal Haasan playing the lead. The Telugu version released sometime back and had Venkatesh in the lead role. Now the Hindi version is all set to go on floors.

 

Post the 'Action Jackson' dud, Ajay Devgn is all set to reprise the role done by Lal in the original. Sources tell that 'Dombivali Fast' fame Nishikant Kamat will direct this flick. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures are the producers. The filming starts in Feb end and the film may release in September or October.
