Gauthami’s response to Kamal's Drishyam offer

Kamal Haasan will play the lead in the Tamil remake of Drishyam. The film will go on floors after Uttama Villan’s wrap up and there have been speculations about Gauthami’s involvement in the project. Suresh Balaje of Wide Angle Creations, who is co-producing the film with Rajkumar Theaters Pvt. Ltd, says that Gauthami hasn’t given her nod for the project yet.

About the shooting plans, Suresh Balaje said, “We will go on floors in July mid, immediately after the completion of Uttama Villain. We are also planning to wrap the movie in a single or two schedules maximum. We are also zeroing on the locations and we’ll be done with that in a week.”         

Jeethu Joseph, who directed the original, will direct the remake of Drishyam too. Ghibran, who has been a part of both Vishwaroopam 2 and Uttama Villain, will work on the music.
