Role of Kaththi in the delay of Goundamani's 49 O

Goundamani's long in the making, 49 O might release in the month of February. The movie, directed by a former associate of Gautham Menon, Arokiya Das, reportedly has the legendary comedian playing the role of a farmer. Musician K scores the music for this political satire.  

 

 

It is said that the movie was completed long back, but the team had to hold back because its story line was similar to Ilayathalapathy VIjay - AR Murugadoss' blockbuster Kaththi, a movie based on farmer suicides and the role of MNCs on the suicides. 

 

 

With the senior comedian back in action, 49 O is bound to create fireworks at the box-office this February.
