Gaurav Narayanan directed Sigaram Thodu is a big favorite at the Norway Tamil Film Festival
Recently director Gaurav Narayanan had been to Oslo to participate in the NTFF (Norway Tamil Film Festival). At the end of the festival, his 2014 hit Sigaram Thodu was honored with an Award for raising Social Awareness through its content. The film, as we know, highlighted the process and modus operandi of ATM thefts through a racy and interesting screenplay.

Gaurav informs us that the Mayor of Lorenskog, Mr. Age Tovan saw Sigaram Thodu at the festival in Oslo, and called up the Norwegian bank staff and policemen to have an interaction with him regarding the methods of ATM theft and how to control the same. The folks at NTFF apparently loved Sigaram Thodu totally and also recommended it to the Berlin Film Festival.

Way to go Gaurav and team Sigaram Thodu.
