''MY FRIENDSHIP WITH SELVARAGHAVAN IS AS STRONG AS EVER''

Editor Kola Bhaskar has been a constant in the Selvaraghavan camp from the days of 7G Rainbow Colony till the recent Irandam Ulagam. Selva has also penned the story and screenplay for Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam, which is a Kola Bhaskar production where his son is being introduced as the lead hero. 

 

Apparently there are some rumors being circulated since the past few days in some media circles that there is a rift between Kola and Selva and that they are not on good terms of late. Kola talks to Behindwoods exclusively to clarify the same

 

"Selva and myself go back a long way and he is my one true friend in the industry. Initially I thought that I needn't talk about such baseless reports but such talks are gaining intensity and causing a lot of pain and heartbreak for me.

 

We meet daily and discuss a lot about our film projects. Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam is in the edit stage and post-production is going on at a fast clip. For this movie and Kaan, my assistant is taking care of the edits but this doesn't mean that my equation with Selva has changed. I hope that such talks would stop now. Nothing can hamper my friendship and relationship with Selva."
