AN IMPORTANT MOMENT FOR DEMONTE COLONY

The nature of the film business is changing with opening collections and quick recovery of investments taking precedence over the number of days a film runs in theaters. Even then, the industry continues to treat milestones such as 25 days, 50 days, 75 days and 100 days with much importance.

 

Last week, Jyothika's 36 Vayadhinile crossed the 50 day mark while today (July 10), the horror thriller Demonte Colony crosses the half century mark with a few shows across Chennai city.

 

Demonte Colony was released by Sri Thenandal Films and was welcomed with unanimously positive reviews and good collections at the box-office. The horror thrills and the suspense elements hooked the audience big time, along with the fine technical values. The film is a genuine hit and is a feather in the cap of director Ajay Gnanamuthu, lead actor Arulnidhi and the full team. Kudos!
