Atharvaa's next on the lines of Vijay's recent ...

Director Sargunam of Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Vaa fame is back with yet another rural affair. This time he has teamed up with Atharvaa Murali for a water problem based social entertainer, titled Chandi Veeran. It must be noted that Vijay’s Kaththi, which was released recently, was on similar lines, focusing on farmer's issues and their water problems.

Actor Lal who played the baddie in Vishal’s Sandakozhi, is making a Kollywood comeback with Chandi Veeran. Anandhi is playing the female lead while the music department is taken care by SN Arunagiri. The album comprises of 5 songs in total. Chandi Veeran is nearing the finish line with just about 5 days of shoot left to be canned in and around Chennai.
