Yesterday turned to be a good day for Tamil cinema !

As much as it isn't advisable (as trade pundits would say) to release 4 new movies in one single day, it's safe to say that yesterday was a good day for Tamil Cinema on the whole.

 

All the four new releases - Kappal, Kayal, Meaghamann, and Vellaikaara Durai, and the other earlier released movies - Lingaa and Pisaasu, had packed shows in theaters across Chennai city yesterday. Even, the nation's favorite, Aamir Khan's PK made good collections yesterday in the city. The Christmas holiday certainly worked to the trade's advantage.

 

With decent reviews pouring up for all the new films from different sections of the audience, the weekend too might turn to be a good business time for the producers. Good going indeed for the Tamil film industry
