What's up with Shruti Haasan and Kaththi?

The shoot of Vijay's Kaththi is happening in Chennai as reported earlier and Ilayathalapathy is also involved in it since the beginning of the month. Currently the team is shooting in the OMR stretch of the city and by the end of the month they plan to wrap it up completely. The audio launch is planned for the middle of September and a lot is riding on composer Anirudh to deliver some chartbusters in the album.

 

Reacting to the recent buzz that Shruti Haasan is singing for a number in the album, our sources close to the Kaththi team denied any such development whatsoever. Whether they are keeping Shruti's involvement a suspense or whether the news is completely false remains to be seen.
