Vijay's Madurai-style dialogues in Jilla
Mar 17, 2013After having played urban characters in his recent films like Nanban, Thuppakki and even his upcoming Thalaivaa, Vijay will be seen in a rural Madurai avatar in Jilla and he will even mouth his dialogs in the local dialect for the desired nativity.
Director Nesan is from Madurai and he wills to explore this place more through Jilla. He also feels that Vijay hasn’t played such a character before. It must be noted that Vijay had acted in a film by the name Madhurey in 2004.
Jilla is being planned for a Pongal 2014 release.
