Vanakkam Chennai Tamil Nadu box office collection report

Vanakkam Chennai, Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's directorial debut, produced by Red Giant Movies has taken a good opening all over the state. Shiva and Priya Anand have apparently notched up a winner and Anirudh's music has played a big part in this success.

Red Giant Movies have released the movie all over the state and the first 4 days' collection status of Vanakkam Chennai from some of the circuits in Tamil Nadu are as follows.

Trichy - The gross is 25 lakhs from 18 screens

Madurai - The gross is 40 lakhs from 25 screens

Tirunelveli - The gross is 12 lakhs from 14 screens

Salem - The gross is 30 lakhs from 23 screens

Coimbatore - The gross is 45 lakhs from 20 screens

Pondicherry - The gross is 7 lakhs from 2 screens (Jeeva and Ratna)

In Chennai and surrounding areas, the gross is 81 lakhs approx. from around 37 centers, after the first 3 days.

On the whole, the general talk about the movie is positive and the film is expected to continue its good run till the Diwali releases strike.
