''Singam 2 is among my favorites'' ...
Jul 21, 2013Director Ram is known for his intense movies which raise pertinent and contemporary societal issues. Both Katradhu Tamizh and the upcoming Thanga Meengal fall in this category of socially relevant films which are an eye-opener. But as an audience, the director's tastes are really different from the kind of films he makes.
"I enjoy entertaining films such as Singam 2, SMS, Enthiran, OKOK and these are my favorites", he says frankly.
For Thanga Meengal, he involved his daughter Srisankara Gomathy Ram too in the movie, and the two completed the script work in just a month's time. She was the starting point of Thanga Meengal, Ram says.
He expects everyone from 6 to 60 to identify with his new movie and parents in particular will get a wake-up call seeing the movie.
