Rajinikanth tried to match Kamal Haasan

The celebrations for the 100 years of Indian Cinema took off in grand style on the 21^st of September 2013. The celebrations saw the presence of many celebrities like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vijay, Vikram, Trisha and Simran to name a few.
 

Superstar Rajinikanth spoke in the centenary celebration about his journey in the industry and thanked the people who helped him make it this far. He dropped a few lines about Kamal Haasan in his speech. He mentioned that he is a great fan of Kamal Haasan and recalled his experience working with Kamal Haasan in movies back then.
 

He pointed out that Kamal Haasan is a flawless actor and Rajinikanth used to try his best to match him. The superstar also took the opportunity to thank director K. Balachander and many other directors, producers and theater owners, who chipped in contributions to his success.
 

Furthering about Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth added that Kamal Haasan is a legend who has been in the industry for 55 years now.
