The release of Singam 2 is merely hours away and the theatre listings indicate a promising sign for Suriya. The opening weekend will present Suriya his biggest opening till date in terms of number of screens. In the heart of Chennai city, Sathyam Cinemas will be screening 4 shows of Singam 2 in their namesake biggest screen as well their second biggest one, Santham.

Abhirami Mega Mall has a total of 4 screens, all of which will be screening Singam 2 in its opening weekend. The big ticket Mayajaal, housing 16 screens, is offering a grand 60 shows per day making it Suriya’s most impactful release yet.

The impressive show of strength can also be attributed to the fact that the film stands literally unopposed tomorrow and over the weekend, and credit is due to the makers for the tactful planning. Once the film achieves positive word of mouth upon release it is sure to set the cash registers ringing. The film is set to release in about 2000 screens across the world in Tamil and Telugu with the Hindi version slated for next Friday.
