A NEW BORN AFFINITY TOWARDS AJITH KUMAR!

A new born affinity towards actor Ajith Kumar

Ajith, as we know looks to be a very private person. The last time I saw him giving an interview was back in 2008 during the release of Billa. So you could hardly watch him speak off the screen. May be because of that I could just not strike a chord with him. He has always been an enigma to me.

Probably the only time you get to click a photo of him is at airports. He feels his duty is to act and does that honestly is what I feel. He has always been considered as a gentleman, that is what his peers and people who work with him say. But since I don’t get to see the off-screen side of him much, I was hesitant to think the way his peers think of him.

But look how an incident has changed my perspective towards Ajith. I have got a new born affinity towards him now. As we all know Ajith flew all the way from Bulgaria to Chennai just to pay his respect to Amma. Yeah, you could say, what is the big deal in it? He earns so much; can’t he spend a few lakhs and seek publicity? I wanted to dig a little more on this topic and check why Ajith really returned to Chennai. Did he really enjoy the personal rapport with our former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa? Or has he by anyways joined AIADMK party as speculated by some?

There are reports that say Ajith had met Jayalalithaa at Apollo Hospital while she was ill which is not true. Ajith absolutely has no affiliation in Amma’s political background. He is no way related to AIADMK or politics. Then why did he have to undergo a strenuous long journey?

I am told that Ajith generally admires Jayalalithaa as a person, as a bold woman who stood as an example. More than that, Jayalalithaa had attended his wedding when he wasn’t so popular which Ajith still remembers and respects. When a Chief Minister, in spite of her busy schedule made ways to attend a lesser known star’s wedding, shouldn’t the actor repay his gratitude to her? This is the main reason why he had to stop his shooting and fly down to Chennai.

He was shooting in an interior part of Bulgaria and there is no direct flight. So he had to take a car, drive 6 hours to an airport, then fly to Abu Dhabi and then to Chennai. It took him 18 hours to reach Chennai. And the moment he landed, the first place he went was to Amma’s memorial and that is when he got to know about Cho’s demise. So he then went to Apollo hospital to pay his last respect. Again he did not meet the press, brag about his grueling travel just to show his gratitude to a departed soul who he admired.

What more do you want to become a fan of him?
