Zimbabwe’s ruling party sacks President

The ruling party ZANU-PF in Zimbabwe has reportedly voted to remove their leader Robert Mugabe and has appointed former vice-president Emerson Mnangawa in his place. Mugabe’s wife Grace has also been expelled from the ZANU-PF party. Notably, Mubage refused to step down last week following a military takeover and huge marches demanding his expulsion.
