Saudi Arabia’s labour ministry has reportedly approved a policy restricting the employment of foreigners to work in 12 private sectors, mostly in retail and sales from early September 2018. This new rule is likely to affect over 30 lakh Indians and about 12 million foreigners who work in Saudi Arabia. This move has been made to favour Saudi citizens with job opportunities.
