Missing soccer team along with coach in Thailand found alive one km un

A group of 12 boys of teen soccer team and their coach have been found alive about one kilometre below the surface in Tham Luang Nang Non cave in Thailand on Monday. Two British divers made contact with them nine days after they went missing on Saturday (June 23).

The boys, between 11 and 16 years old, became stranded in the dark tunnels by surprising floodwaters of the cave following a sudden and continuous downpour. The families of the boys and Thais were excited on hearing that the teenagers had been found alive along with the coach.

A video released by the Thai Navy SEAL shows the boys sitting and standing on a muddy ledge. A boy is heard replying “thirteen”, when a diver asks “How many of you?” Reports suggest that it is now challenging to rescue the boys due to the rising water levels and excessive mud.

While the rescue is expected to take time, the boys are sent food in the meantime. And the works to drain the water from the cave are being carried out.
