THIS INDIAN-ORIGIN LADY TO RUN FOR US PRESIDENT

According to reports, India-origin senator Kamala Harris officially launched her 2020 campaign to run for President in the United States of America. Harris made her announcement on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Monday.

Harris aged 54, is the daughter of immigrants from Jamaica and India. Harris has more political advantage of being a Democratic candidate as she resembles the party's most diverse base of young, female and minority voters.

In her campaign video, Harris said, "Let's do this, together. Let's claim our future. For ourselves, for our children, and for our country." She also announced her decision on social media where she shared a video along with the caption, "I'm running for president. Let's do this together. Join us: http://kamalaharris.org (sic)"
