Five youngsters hailing from Kerala met with an accident at Gadimedu near Pollachi while returning home from a trip to Munnar, on Sunday morning. As the car plunged into a canal, three persons reportedly died on the spot, while one managed to escape and the fifth person is still missing. Fire and rescue team rushed to the spot and pulled out the car using a crane. Police have reportedly registered a case.
