An FIR has reportedly been filed against Cartoonist Bala, who was earlier arrested for this caricature of TN Chief Minister, Deputy CM and Thirunelveli collector regarding the self-immolation in Thirunelveli collectorate for usury issue. This time, the FIR has reportedly been filed for his participation in a protest. Along with him, names of few journalists who supported his protest were also included in the FIR. The journalists along with Bala reportedly blew up his controversial cartoon on a banner and displayed it outside the Chennai Press Club on November 6 after Bala's release on November 5.
