WATER SUPPLY IN CHENNAI’S PROMINENT AREAS TO BE DISTURBED FOR 2 DAYS

As the desalination plant in Nemmeli will be undergoing maintenance work on Wednesday and Thursday, water supply will reportedly be disrupted on those days in areas like Adyar, Velachery, Besant Nagar, Sholinganallur, East Coast Road, Neelankarai, Kottivakkam, Perungudi, Palavakkam, and Thiruvanmiyur. The plant which produces 100 million liters of treated seawater per day will reportedly be shut down from 10:00 am on Wednesday to 10:00 am on Thursday.
