Vishal case: HC orders to file case if cognizable offences made out

The Madras High Court on Tuesday reportedly ordered police to file a case in connection with the alleged threat to actor Vishal’s proposers for contesting in the RK Nagar bypoll if cognizable offences are made out. The actor, after his nomination was rejected by the Election Commission citing irregularities regarding the signatures of two of his proposers, had alleged that his proposers were threatened to deny that they signed in his nomination form.
