CHENNAI GOVT HOSP DOC JUMPS FROM TERRACE TO DEATH

A 31-year-old doctor Anandan employed at the Tamil Nadu Government Multi-Super-Speciality Hospital in Chennai allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the terrace of his apartment at Pallikaranai on Tuesday night.
 

Dr Anandan was also teaching at the Madras Medical College and is survived by his wife and twin babies born just four months ago.

Media reports cite that Anandan was visiting a psychiatrist and was also in a dilemma over working in a village and had sought employment in the city. 

The police are also investigating whether it was a case of suicide or accidental slipping.
