Elections in RK Nagar was previously scrapped due to a number of issues including alleged widespread bribery by political parties in order to influence voters. Some even claimed that the constituency had a fake voter base of nearly 45,000. As per the latest stats released by the Election Commission, the registered number of male, female and third gender voters stands at1,10,411, 1,16,522 and 99 respectively.
