According to reports, a sub-registrar named Raju has reportedly been caught while receiving Rs 35,000 bribe for land registration in Madurai. Krishnamurthy from Tallakulam approached the sub-registrar of Chinna Chokkikulam for registration of his land on September 25 at the combined sub-registrar offices in Othakadai, Madurai. Since the sub-registrar sought Rs 35,000 bribe, Krishnamurthy moved to the vigilance officials. The officials gave chemical-applied currency notes worth Rs 35,000 to Krishnamurthy and caught Raju when he received the bribe, reports say.
