The vigilance officials on Wednesday reportedly conducted raids at various government offices including registrar offices and RTO offices across Tamil Nadu. They seized a total of Rs 14.75 lakh in cash from govt offices in Dindigul, Theni, Trichy, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Sivaganga, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi and Chennai, say reports. Many officials including sub-registrars, RTOs, motor vehicle inspectors are booked for bribery, reports added.
