Students to get Rs 100 per day to attend school in this country

According to reports, 4,52,661 students between the age group 4-17 are currently unable to attend school due to poverty and other reasons in Sri Lanka. Reportedly, Sri Lankan government is discussing about introducing a new scheme of paying Sri Lankan rupees 100 as daily allowance to encourage these students to attend school. Under the Free Education System, the students are reportedly already receiving free textbooks, uniform, food and medical insurance.
