RK Nagar: Bypoll campaign heats up, security tightened

Since the campaign for RK Nagar byelection began on Thursday, several parties have been campaigning vigorously for their candidates. Following this, TN's Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni has said that for security purposes, paramilitary forces will arrive on December 12 and voters will be given booth slip from that day. He further added that, only people and vehicles with prior permission will be allowed to enter RK Nagar and any excess vehicle entry will result in the cancellation of campaigning for the day.
