Today’s Google Doodle features an Indian woman, know more

Popular search engine Google celebrates the 104th birth anniversary of India’s first woman photojournalist on Saturday by featuring a doodle in remembrance of her. Born in Gujarat, Homai Vyarawalla started her career in 1930’s, at a time when the idea of women working was still new to the society. During the onset of WW2, she published many black and white images taken by her which were lauded across the community. Vayarawalla was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 2011 and she passed away in 2012 at the age of 98.
