RK Nagar bypoll: 57 candidates lose deposits

Reports suggest that 57 out of the total 59 candidates have lost their deposit as they did not receive 29,481 votes required for the return of the deposit. DMK candidate Marudhu Ganesh is also among the candidates who lost their deposits. Independent candidate TTV Dhinakaran and AIADMK candidate Madhusudhanan are the only two candidates who will receive the deposit back.
