While independent candidate TTV Dhinakaran is set to win the RK Nagar bypoll, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi chief Thol Thirumavalavan has said that Dhinakaran has won the race of who is the next after Jayalalithaa in the AIADMK party. He also reportedly alleged that the Election Commission has failed as it didn’t stop cash distribution. However, he also reportedly added that DMK’s candidate Maruthu Ganesh has attained a moral victory as they didn’t distribute cash for vote. The bypoll is a lesson to BJP that communalism does not work, he reportedly added.
