Tamil Nadu Health Minister C Vijayabaskar on Wednesday reportedly said that no action will be taken against the nurses in protest if they return to work by Thursday. The patients in hospitals are not affected as an alternative has been arranged, the minister also reportedly added. The nurses, who are working on contractual basis, have been protesting for the third day demanding to make their jobs permanent and a hike in their salary.
