Nithyananda, who along with his disciples was earlier stopped by the HC from entering the Adheenam and interfering with its affairs was recently questioned by the Madurai Bench of the Madras HC about his claim to the leadership of the Adheenam; asking him how he could appoint himself as the head when the present head was still alive. The court posted the case for orders on January 3.
